Director

Mihai is the creative and driving force behind the “Mioritics” Association, who has been promoting, organizing and opening to the world the natural, cultural and wisdom heritage of the Southern Transilvania and the saxon villages for the past 9 years. He is inspired by nature and is fascinated by the way history and community memories shape our lives.

Luminiţa Tănasie

Communications and Education Specialist

Luminiţa is trained in social communications and public relations. She has done communications for nature conservation and environmental campaigns for the past ten years. She is motivated by children and youngsters approach and open heart for nature and likes to support them following this connection and taking actions for their lives.

Florentina Florescu

Sustainable Development Expert

Licensed ecologist with an MSc in sustainable development, Florentina has an extensive experience in developing and implementing nature conservation and community development projects in protected areas in Transylvania. She loves to bring the nature wisdom and beauty forwards to children and to lead them in discovering the “science of life”.

Ioana Vașoti

Environmental science expert

Ioana has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences and is a graduate of Pedagogical High School. She joined the Schubz team following her passion for nature, the joy of working with children, and the desire to share experiences and knowledge from various fields such as gardening, traditional crafts, music and natural sciences.

Mihaela Melinte

English Teacher

Mihaela has been working at the Peter Thal School in Râşnov as a teacher and developer of external projects who brought innovation and a fresh approach to education. She is passionate about outdoor sports and experiences and is motivated to support children to discover themselves and explore their abilities and talents.

Dr. Frank Corleis is  part of the team of SCHUBZ Lüneburg. Our programs are designed in cooperation and with the support of Schubz Luneburg team.

Cristina Petric

Primary School Teacher

Cristina has been teaching in German to pupils at the Peter Thal School in Râşnov. She learned from the experience of the German approach to introducing nature experience into traditional education, as well as developing social and emotional intelligence in children.

Bogdan Ionescu

Freelancer

Experienced stage designer for theater and films productions, Bogdan has been leading a theater group for pupils in Râşnov. Inspired by his own children and by his passion for cultural heritage, he is offering them a creative alternative to indoor TV leisure time, discovering a world of legends and their abilities to understand and learn from them for their daily life.
